Q: Which journey is right for me - Patagonia or Corrientes?

A: These two journeys offer completely different faces of Argentina — not only in landscape, but in climate, atmosphere, and rhythm of travel.

Patagonia, in the far south of the country, is a land of vast open spaces, dramatic scenery, ever-changing weather, and profound remoteness. It’s the perfect choice for riders seeking raw nature, silence, and the feeling of being truly far from civilization.

Corrientes, in the warm subtropical north, offers an entirely different experience: softer landscapes, high temperatures, extraordinary wildlife, and a more relaxed, holiday-like atmosphere. It’s ideal for those who love sunshine, immersive nature, refined comfort, and the vibrant spirit of Argentina’s gaucho culture.

If you’re unsure which journey feels more like you, we’ll be happy to help you choose.

Q: What riding skills do I need?

A: Our trips are designed for riders who feel comfortable in all three gaits — walk, trot, and canter. While the pace and terrain vary depending on the destination, confidence in the saddle is important to fully enjoy the experience.

Our horses are carefully selected, well-trained, responsive, and a pleasure to ride, making each journey both exciting and safe.

Q:What kind of weather should I expect in Patagonia?

A: Patagonian weather is famously unpredictable — you may experience sunshine, wind, and sudden shifts in temperature all within the same day. Daily temperatures during summer typically range from around 15°C to 30°C, so layering is essential. Wind is part of the Patagonia experience and something we’ve learned to embrace.

Q:What kind of weather should I expect in Corrientes?

A: Corrientes has a warmer, more humid climate than Patagonia, shaped by the wetlands and subtropical environment of the Iberá region. Expect sunshine, warm temperatures, and abundant nature — lightweight clothing, sun protection, and insect repellent are highly recommended.

Q: How many hours a day will we be in the saddle?

A: Depending on the journey, riding typically ranges between 4 and 8 hours per day, sometimes split between morning and afternoon sessions. There is always time to pause, enjoy the landscape, take photos, and fully embrace the rhythm of the experience.

Q: Is the Patagonia journey suitable for rider with the fear of heights?

A: Patagonia does not involve technical mountain riding or extreme climbs, but certain sections may feel exposed for riders with vertigo. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out — we’re happy to discuss whether this journey is the right fit for you.

Q: What is the accommodation like?

A: Wherever we ride, accommodation is an essential part of the experience. Even in the most remote locations, comfort, exceptional hospitality, and thoughtfully designed spaces remain a priority. Each estancia has its own unique character, but all reflect the level of quality and attention to detail that define our journeys.

Q: What will I eat?

A: Food is an important part of every journey. Expect generous, beautifully prepared meals inspired by Argentine tradition, with excellent local ingredients, regional wines, and options for different dietary preferences. Depending on the destination, dining may range from elegant estancia dinners to unforgettable meals prepared over open fire beneath the stars.

Q: What makes these journeys special?

A: These are not conventional riding holidays. Each journey is carefully curated to combine exceptional horses, extraordinary landscapes, authentic local culture, and a level of hospitality that feels both personal and refined. Whether in Patagonia or Corrientes, the experience is designed to feel immersive, intimate, and unforgettable.
