Q: What kind of weather can I expect?

A: On the trail, you can experience all four seasons in a single day – from blazing sun to rain. Snow is rare, but wind is always our companion. Daily temperatures usually range between 15°C and 25–30°C, so layering is key.

Q: What riding skills do I need?

A: You should be comfortable in all three gaits – walk, trot, and canter. The pace of the ride is generally relaxed, so even less experienced riders will manage just fine. If you’ve tried cantering before, this ride is absolutely for you. Our horses are working breeds, very well-trained, calm, and reliable – they have no wild streaks. They are responsive, patient, and forgiving, making it easier for less experienced riders to feel confident. Riding them is a true pleasure, and you’ll always feel safe in the saddle.

Q: What about fear of heights?

A: We don’t climb mountains or any extreme heights, but there are some spots where people with vertigo might feel a bit uneasy.

Nothing too dramatic, just a chance to enjoy some breathtaking views!

Q: How many hours a day will we be in the saddle?

A: Riding ranges from 5 to 8 hours daily. Some days are split into morning and evening sessions. You’ll have saddle bags for your personal items, and we always make lunch stops in beautiful scenic locations – perfect for stretching, snapping photos, and enjoying

the view.

Q: What is the accommodation like?

A: The guest house has comfortable, beautifully decorated rooms with private bathrooms, cleaned daily. There’s a cozy shared lounge with a fireplace and, yes, internet! After a day on the trail, it’s a perfect place to relax.

Q: What will I eat?

A: Our cuisine is mainly based on beef and lamb from local farms, but vegetarians will be well-catered for too. We also grow our own vegetables and keep chickens for fresh eggs. Meals are prepared with high-quality ingredients, and we’ll enjoy desserts and delicious Malbec wine. Plus, we’ll cook some meals over the open fire in traditional Argentine style – it’s part of the adventure!

Q: Why this place? What makes it special?

A: Imagine 40,000 hectares of private land where you won’t meet anyone except wild horses – all on the shores of Lake San Martín

in Santa Cruz, Argentina. It’s the deepest lake in South America and the fourth deepest in the world.

Completely untouched by humans, it’s a paradise for nature lovers.
