About Ride The Wild

Ride The Wild began with a dream of one woman, Malwina Wachulec, whose lifelong passion for horses shaped her path.
What started as a childhood fascination grew into a life lived in the saddle – and a longing to explore Patagonia,
the place that eventually became her home.
Together with local guides, Malwina leads unforgettable horseback expeditions into the wild heart of Patagonia.
Here, on the edge of the known world, nature still reigns untamed, and places this pure have become a rare treasure.

Estancia El Cóndor

In partnership with Estancia El Cóndor, Malwina welcomes riders to an extraordinary corner of the world.
Resting on the shores of Lake San Martín – South America’s deepest lake and the fourth deepest in the world –
the estancia lies within Argentina’s Santa Cruz province, straddling the border with Chile.
Surrounded by untouched wilderness and spanning roughly 40,000 m²,
it offers an unmatched sense of solitude and connection to nature. But El Cóndor is more than a breathtaking location.
Run by passionate hosts, it is a place that celebrates and preserves the traditions of the gauchos, while also protecting
the pristine beauty of Patagonia. Staying here means not just visiting, but becoming part of a living heritage.

Accommodation

Guests are welcomed in the main house, which offers cozy, beautifully decorated rooms with either double or twin beds.
Each room has a private bathroom and is cleaned daily. A shared lounge with panoramic views over the lake is perfect for resting in silence or enjoying the warmth of the fireplace.
The estancia runs on solar energy, which provides enough electricity for lighting, WiFi in the rooms, and charging devices such as cameras and phones – ensuring comfort while respecting nature.
On expedition, nights are also spent in the tents.
Riders sleep on comfortable mattresses with warm sleeping bags provided.
Another special overnight stop is at La Nana, a traditional gaucho house with no electricity –
a rustic, authentic experience of Patagonian life.
We recommend bringing portable power banks for charging personal devices during this part of the journey.
