Accommodation
The main house is set in a spectacular location along the Guanaco River, surrounded by Patagonia’s vast landscapes and mountain views. Guests stay in comfortable twin rooms with private bathrooms, with access to a cozy dining room with fireplace, a wood-fired outdoor hot tub, and a fire pit where we’ll no doubt gather more than once beneath the open sky. When the Patagonian wind allows, breakfast is best enjoyed outdoors, with fresh ingredients from the estancia’s own vegetable garden.
Along the route, two beautifully equipped remote refugios offer shared accommodation, warm hospitality, and even hot showers — proving that comfort can still be found in the heart of nowhere.
Horses
Our horses are primarily Argentine Criollos, alongside selected crosses with breeds such as Quarter Horses — resilient, sure-footed, calm, and perfectly suited to Patagonia’s demanding terrain.
Riding is done in the traditional local style, using neck reining and the classic recado chileno saddle, designed for comfort over long days in the saddle. It’s an authentic way of riding that feels deeply connected to the landscape and culture of this region.
